Gallery \"Vanda\" presents the exhibition Monologue<\/strong> by the distinguished Georgian artist Alex Berdyshev.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The exposition features around 30 works created in recent years.<\/p>\n

Alex Berdyshev was born in Tbilisi in 1964. He graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 1988 and completed an internship at the Glasgow School of Art (Scotland) in 1990. The artist works actively both in Georgia and abroad. His exhibitions have graced prestigious exhibition spaces in numerous countries worldwide. Berdyshev's art is recognized by a broad audience and holds an important place in private and museum collections around the globe.<\/p>\n

My art is merely a pessimistic game. I create worlds where identifiable and abstract objects coexist, interacting beyond any physical or logical boundaries.<\/p>\n

Berdyshev\u2019s work is an intriguing blend of distorted reality, pure abstraction, and surrealism. His pieces explore the essence of existence, the tension between the visible and the invisible, and question the reality of what we see. Through his art, Berdyshev invites the viewer into a dialogue with abstraction, encouraging a journey beyond the boundaries of reality.<\/p>\n

\u10e9\u10d4\u10db\u10d7\u10d5\u10d8\u10e1 For me, the most important thing is the creative process itself. It is a game, a ritual, a lifestyle - it encompasses everything.<\/em><\/p>\n

Abstract surrealism is a deliberate choice for Berdyshev, reflecting his interest in the depths of the human psyche and the complexity of the human condition.<\/p>\n

In Alex Berdyshev\u2019s world, art serves as a bridge between the material and immaterial worlds - a space where surrealism is not an escape, but rather a deeper engagement with reality.<\/p>\n

I draw inspiration from daily life, dreams, travels, books, and more. It can be any image or word. My imagination adds the \"missing\" details and creates an acceptable environment for all the fragmented and contradictory material. The images I create may have their own stories, and anyone can interpret them. Personal experience and imagination make such interpretations different and unique every time.<\/p>\n
