Art gallery VANDA (former gallery “Hobby”) is one of the first private galleries in Georgia, located in the historical district of Tbilisi – Sololaki. It was founded in 1993 by twin siblings Vanda and Alexander Mujiri.

Since its opening, the mission of the gallery has been the promotion and popularization of modern Georgian art. To achieve this goal, the gallery for many years has been taking part in international festivals, such as ArtExpo New York (USA), Art Basel Miami (USA), Deco-In (Germany), Ankara Art Fair (Turkey), Art Manezh (Russia), Art Kiev (Ukraine), International Art Festival in Boston (USA), etc.

In 1997, the gallery presented contemporary Georgian art to the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC, USA.

Gallery VANDA works with more than 100 artists, many of whom it presents exclusively. The gallery actively collaborates with foreign authors and galleries, participates in major projects.

Alongside the prominent and acknowledged artists, the gallery works with young artists, students of art academies, searches for new talents and contributes to their further development.

For 14 years now, this goal has been served by the competition of children’s works “Golden Palette”, established by the gallery, one of the largest in the country. Every year more than 200 children not only from Tbilisi, but also from different regions take part in it.

In addition to personal and group exhibitions, Art gallery Vanda holds charity exhibitions and auctions, and also has extensive experience in forming private and corporate collections.

Keeping track of important events in the art world, it provides comprehensive consulting services to collectors and interested parties.
